Brown fused aluminum oxide (Al2O3) is also known as brown fused alumina, which is produced by the smelting of calcined bauxite in an electric arc furnace. It is a hard and tough material with high strength, excellent wear resistance and good thermal conductivity. Brown fused aluminum oxide is widely used as the raw material in refractories, grinding wheels, blasting medial, sandpaper, polishing and other general applications. Our brown fused alumina grains are available in standard grit sizes, and they can also be made to specified sizes against request.
